The Hunter In Me

     So, first posts are always hard. One has to find something suitably interesting to get the ball rolling without feeling like it's required to explain the entire "story" so to speak. Last night while playing WoW (something I do almost every night), I decided that I wanted to create yet another alt to add to my alt collection. In my opinion you can never have too many alts! But this particular alt came into existence because of something other than WoW. To be specific, BlizzCon. I went to BlizzCon 2013; the best, most amazing experience of last year actually. After it was over, my sister and I loved it so much that we agreed we were going again next year. And next year (2014, this year), we were going to cosplay as characters. Now, she loves the Alliance. Don't get me wrong, they have their moments, but I prefer Horde. But since she's still new to the game and all I decided I wouldn't mind if we cosplayed Alliance characters. She chose a worgen DK because she really likes the look of them and that's her second character. As for myself, after literally months of consideration in which I changed my mind at least 10 times, I decided I'd like to cosplay as a Draenei. I really love the goat people, they are my favorite race of the Alliance and they are adorable. And call me a sucker for punishment but I am looking forward to making hooves! And for me, if I'm going to cosplay as a character, I'd really like to have that character as a real one that I play so that when I cosplay her it will feel more real and personal, rather than just a random design. So after sifting through my add-on looking at various armor types and classes, I decided on Hunter. I really love hunters. My main is a blood elf hunter and I've been playing them since 2006. My other main of course is a Druid. I love cats very much! So last night, a little hunter by the name of Crucia was born. A Draenei Hunter who I have hopes of getting to 90 and cosplaying at BlizzCon. It should be a fun experience and I can't wait to get started. That's where this blog comes in. I've always loved writing and typing and will take any excuse for it. And I kind of liked the idea of writing down my leveling experience on my hunter. It would be a fun task to do and something to look forward to at the end of my long work day. It probably won't be consistent or organized or sensible, but who cares, it's my journal, it doesn't have to be! Since I like to do other things besides play WoW that will make its way into the blog as well. Like my cooking/baking endeavors, my nights playing other games, my beloved kitties, maybe even my new roommate that I recently acquired.
     That's it for first posts. To rehash: the point of this blog is a journal of my leveling experience as a Draenei Hunter. My goal is to get my hunter to lvl 90 and get her the armor I want to cosplay for BlizzCon 2014! If I feel like it I'll add interesting stuff like pets and battle pets and achievements, but that's usually a lot of work to get accurate and up to date so we'll see how much time I actually devote to this blog. I also have another blog I'm working that is a chapter story about a different game and since I made that first, that comes first. Although I'm a bit behind on it lol! Oh, time to go! My sister's coming over and we're going to have pancakes so I better get to mixing up the ingredients! Ta ta for now!
